We own and operate a number of websites including but not limited to www.forward-travel.co.uk (the “Websites”). This privacy policy applies to information obtained through the Websites and any other website owned and operated by us from time to time, in addition to the information provided to our consultants employed at our offices.
 
The personal information we collect and how we use it.
 
Fairway does not capture and store any personal information provided to us except as provided in this policy.
 
Personal information may be given to Fairway in a variety of circumstances in order to effectively manage your needs. Such information may be provided under the following circumstances: –
 
you make a reservation, enquiry or purchase of a product via the booking platform or through the travel consultant team in our offices in person, by email, letter, fax, telephone or electronic form;
you consent and take part in a survey or provide us with feedback;
you subscribe to our travel updates;
If you subscribe to one of the above services or submit an email to us, then your email address and/or other personal data may be kept by us and used for marketing purposes, in addition to being used to fulfil your travel requirements.
 
If you contact us via any other means, then we may keep a record of that correspondence. We may also keep a record comprising the details of transactions you carry out and the fulfilment of your orders.
 
Any marketing materials which we send to you will be sent to you either in electronic form or through the post. Should you wish to remove your details from our email marketing list then you will need to follow the instructions at the bottom of our marketing email. Should you wish to opt-out of any marketing we send through the post, then please contact us via post, telephone or email and we shall remove your details from our hard copy marketing list.
 
If an individual supplies payment details to us in order to facilitate the travel booking, then this information will be stored using a secure database and only used for payment and accounting purposes.
 
Individuals have the right to obtain confirmation of their data being processed, and access to their personal information at any time and this can be requested through the Data Protection Officer.
 
All individuals are entitled to modify, erase or data portability and to request the deletion or removal of all personals records where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing (the right to be forgotten)
 
The right to erase does not apply if processing in for one of the following reasons:

The right to portability applies when processing is carried out by automated mean; and is based on consent or if necessary for the performance of the contract.  It allows the person to move, copy or transfer personal data easily from one IT source to another in a safe and secure manner.

Any information requested will be sent to you within 40 days of your request - although Fairway almost always requires proof of your identity before supplying the information (in order to mitigate the risk of supplying information to the wrong person) and may ask you for further information to assist in locating your personal information.
